Saddle Making School
Applications are now open for 2025 (2024 sold out) - Saddle Making School
This course is for those who have always wanted to try their hand at making their own saddle.
This is not a group setting, or class, this is 1:1 tuition with Dave. The course is flexible (as far as dates) but limited in how many a year we offer this to, and generally you would be needing to invest in 7 - 10 solid days to complete your saddle.
You can choose from Western stock to Wade saddle, we order the trees specifically for your needs.
You receive -
- A complete set of patterns for your choice of saddle (wade/stock)
- Video series on the steps involved in creating your own saddle
- 1:1 tuition and guidance throughout the whole process
- Wholesale goods available on all aspects of saddle making available if you choose to further your field
- At the completion of the course you take home the experience, the knowledge and the saddle you have made under Dave's guidance.
- The charge for successful applicants is $7500
Accommodation can be arranged at extra cost.
