Our Process
The foundation –
Every saddle has a foundation – foundation is extremely important.
I only use quality, good fitting trees, some being custom made to the measurements I send through to the tree makers.
We use a webbing strained seat as foundation for all our ground seats. I have found this adds to the comfort for the rider. I then shape the seat to fit the riders’ pelvic profile.
We are confident that most SQH trees will fit most Stock bred horses and can order FQH if needed.
The technique –
With over 25yrs experience in the industry I use a unique blend of traditional and modern techniques to craft my saddles. I am confident my saddles will look good in the arena as well as carry you all day work, rest or play.
The finish –
You can choose to dye your saddle to a colour you like, stamp, carve, or laser engrave (extra cost)
All our saddles are oiled before leaving the workshop.
I only use top quality hardware, leather and finishing products.
